The Story
Long ago, a group of young women arrived in New Orleans carrying small wooden chests said to resemble caskets. Before long, rumors began to follow them. Strange disappearances. Unexplained happenings. Whispers that the women weren’t quite what they seemed.
Some called them cursed.
Others called them vampires.
Eventually, the women vanished from New Orleans altogether.
But they didn’t disappear.
They fled north, far from the city and the people who had turned against them, eventually finding refuge in an isolated barn in the Kentucky countryside. There, hidden from an ever-curious public, the Casket Girls built a new home—and a new life.
For a long time, they were left alone.
Then people started coming to see what was inside.
